Event Calendar for Jira allows you to import a Google calendar from your Google Workspace mail or Gmail. The calendar is automatically updated so as you don’t miss any updates.
Here’s a quick tutorial on how to get started:

1. Open up the calendar app
In your Jira workspace navigate on the top navigation panel, click “Apps” -> “Event Calendar“.
2. Find option to import external calendars
Once you have the app opened, navigate to the left panel and find a section “External calendars“. At the top-right corner find a plus buttton and click the “+” button.
3. Select Google calendar option
Once the import options are shown, select the option describing an import process from Google Calendar. To proceed, click the “Use” button under the import options.
4. Proceed to login with Google
After selecting the import option from Google, proceed to login with Google service by clicking the button “Login using Google Workspace account“.
5. Approve required permissions
Once you proceed to login using your Google Workspace account, you’re going to be asked to confirm all of the required permissions. The permissions are required in order for Event Calendar to read your calendars and events. We request only “read-only” permission – so you don’t have to worry about our application screwing something up in your account. 6. Pick a calendar
Once you’ve approved all of the required permissions, a list of calendars from your Google Workspace account is shown. Pick one calendar from the list and click the button “Proceed” to import the calendar data.
You can import as much calendars as you need – you just need to repeat the process multiple times – each time for a different calendar.
7. Finish
And that’s it! After a few seconds of the process of importing your calendar, the calendar is added to your account.
From now you’ll be able to see the contents of your Google Calendar directly in Jira.
